Robo Calls...annoying, effective, or both?

Wed Oct 31, 2007 at 08:17:12 AM PDT

Hi all,

last week of my campaign so I can't write long.  Long story short, I have a few extra dollars to spend this week, and need to decide how to do it!

Yeah, great problem to have eh?  I have radio spots on 5 stations.  2 print pieces direct mailed this week.  3 billboards on the main strip.  A few ads placed in alternative papers.

It has been strongly suggested that I do a few runs of robo calls this week.  Could be mildly to madly annoying...what do you think?  Are they effective?  Bottom line, will it be a net gain or loss?

My wife detests them, and I'm not a big fan either, but if I support a candidate, it won't make me flip.  If I don't, I simply hang up. I'm usually not undecided, so I can't tell you if it affects me either way.  All I know is one lady called my house and told my wife that since she got a robo-call from another candidate, she would not vote for that person.

Or I can spend more on radio spots...

Last week, I need your advice!

Oh yeah, visit my blog/website!
